Virtucom Group Releases Content Marketing Ebook: Here Are 5 Highlights

Ebooks are among some of the best marketing tools a company can have to promote their products and services. Compared to a technical whitepaper, ebooks take on the more casual tone of a blog post, but they are packed with relevant information consumers need to make a purchasing decision.

Not only does Virtucom Group create custom ebooks for our clients, but we’re also committed to writing them for our own marketing initiatives. We recently released an ebook titled “Everything to Know about Virtucom Group’s Content Marketing Services.” Here, we discuss five highlights and how you can access the ebook yourself.

1. The Impressive History of Virtucom Group

Founded in 2001, Virtucom Group has a long history of crafting custom content across all industries. Our company started by exclusively serving Fortune 500 retailers with industry-leading product content and other ecommerce solutions, as well as data solutions. In the 2010s, Virtucom Group’s content marketing department launched, with our first clients including major marketing agencies and business owners in need of blog posts, landing pages, ebooks, and more.

Today, Virtucom Group is known for producing high-quality, accurate, engaging copy rooted in search engine optimization (SEO) best practices. We are based in Syracuse, New York, and work with agencies, retailers, and other clients across North America. Virtucom Group also guarantees that our content is completely created by humans, as we are firm believers that it is best to avoid the AI content trend

2. Content Marketing Basics

SEO content agencies and big retailers are already familiar with the idea of content marketing. However, it never hurts to review the basics and ensure your strategy is on the right track – especially when SEO best practices are constantly changing. In our ebook, we fully define content marketing, describe the types of materials we typically create, and explain the importance of using this crucial digital strategy.

3. Our Customization Process

Virtucom Group’s rigorous quality assurance process and use of in-depth style guides ensure clients receive the content they desire. An experienced production team is assigned to each client’s account, including an account manager, lead editor, and talented copywriters.

Each piece is written by a copywriter capable of writing for the client’s industry, closely consulting the client’s style guides and SEO best practices. In the editorial phase, an even more experienced editor performs checks for grammar and accuracy, ensuring readability and flow from beginning to end. Lastly, the account manager gives each piece a final proof before delivering the completed document to the client.

4. Introduction to Partnerships with Virtucom Group

Virtucom Group’s content partnerships are completely scalable to align with the client’s needs. During an initial consultation, Virtucom Group’s business development personnel will discuss the following:

  • The type, length, and complexity of the content needed
  • Turnaround times based on the client’s anticipated volume
  • Pricing by word count and other factors
  • Processes for submitting orders and receiving completed content
  • Signatures and paperwork required to get started

Once both parties agree upon specific terms, a contract is signed, and Virtucom Group begins creating the content according to the client’s specifications.

5. Case Study: A Story of Holiday Season Success

We pride ourselves on being a reliable, trustworthy content partner, and we’re always on standby to meet our clients’ needs. But you don’t just have to take our word for it, as this ebook features a new case study. Major Wireless Carrier Has Successful Website Launch with Virtucom Group’s Content

In the world of wireless, having the right website content is crucial to attracting consumers and converting them into loyal customers. When a wireless carrier needed a new website for its launch, its marketing team requested the content creation services of Virtucom Group. Here, we explain what the content project entailed and how our team helped the website to have a successful debut.

The Problem

In 2023, a marketing agency representing a wireless brand, both of which cannot be named due to confidentiality agreements, contacted Virtucom Group. Landing and location pages, which would detail the provider’s plans, benefits, where to find stores, and other pertinent information, were urgently needed for its upcoming website launch deadline. Specifically, each piece submitted was due within ten business days of Virtucom Group receiving the request.

Due to the agency’s long-standing partnership with Virtucom Group, it fully trusted this project with our team of in-house writers and editors, in addition to the manager overseeing the account.

The Solution

Virtucom Group has previously assisted this agency with content creation efforts specific to the wireless industry, so our team knew exactly where to start. We began by assigning dedicated writers and editors to the account. These employees carry years of experience in creating content across all industries, including in the wireless space.

As the client submitted content orders, the lead editor reviewed all writing instructions and materials, including a detailed brand style guide. If our team needed more information or had specific questions, the editor reached back out to the client for clarification. Otherwise, the designated writer tackled all assignments in priority order, crafting content to meet stringent space requirements and word counts.

Once each piece was written, the lead editor utilized our strict quality assurance processes. In the editorial phase for all clients, Virtucom Group always ensures that the content created is grammatically correct and factually accurate. The editor also runs checks for client preferences as indicated in style guides and other materials. Lastly, the editor makes certain that all search engine optimization (SEO) elements are included in each piece, going far beyond keywords, so content ranks as high as possible on search engine results pages (SERPs).

Virtucom Group’s final step is the proofing stage. This is when the account manager gives each piece a thorough proofread, ensuring flawless content is delivered that exceeds client expectations. In this case, the finalized content orders were delivered to the agency via email, as agreed upon in our contract with this client. Virtucom Group is now at the ready if any additional content needs arise, including revisions to previously delivered content.

The Results

The tight ten-day turnaround time was no challenge for Virtucom Group’s efficient team, as we delivered all orders in advance of their deadlines. Virtucom Group’s efforts resulted in a successful website launch for this marketing agency and wireless provider. The wireless carrier was more than satisfied with Virtucom Group’s high-quality, engaging content, and the agency is excited to continue our partnership into 2024 and beyond.

How Virtucom Group Transformed a Light Therapy/Acupuncture Expert’s Website

Owners of small businesses often share a common challenge – not having enough time or personnel to dedicate to marketing. Headquartered in Syracuse, New York, and serving clients across the country, Jennifer Waters, L.Ac., Dipl.Ac., is one business owner who found a solution with Virtucom Group. In this case study, we describe how our content creation services fulfilled various marketing needs for Jennifer Waters, L.Ac., Dipl.Ac.

The Problem

As an expert in the acupuncture and light therapy field, Jennifer Waters, L.Ac., Dipl.Ac., had several clear goals when coming to Virtucom Group in late 2022. These included:

  • Positioning herself as an acupuncture and light therapy expert across the digital landscape, from search engine results pages (SERPs) to social media
  • Targeting specific audiences who could benefit from light therapy and acupuncture, including those looking to amplify their fertility
  • Polishing her website content, from landing pages to blogs
  • Forming a cohesive social media and email marketing strategy
  • Creating marketing materials ranging from one-page  handouts to ebooks

Though her marketing ambitions were clear, Jennifer’s busy patient schedule didn’t allow much free time to promote her business. Plus, she had many expert insights to share about her practice of traditional Chinese medicine. She needed help putting those thoughts into digestible marketing content, like blog posts, landing pages, and social media posts.

The Solution

In Fall 2022, Jennifer decided it was finally time to alleviate the burden of content creation by seeking a professional content marketing service. She reached out to Virtucom Group, also based in Syracuse, NY, as she was familiar with our firm and services.

To start, Virtucom Group held a conference call with Jennifer, her account manager, and a dedicated writer and editor. During this call, content specifics were discussed, such as:

  • Search engine optimization (SEO) requirements
  • Preferred branding and language
  • Target audiences
  • Pricing and budget
  • What to prioritize in terms of content needs

With this information, Virtucom Group formed a style guide to consult when writing and editing every piece, as well as a proposed content creation schedule. Jennifer ordered content as her budget allowed, enjoying the flexibility Virtucom Group offers (no minimum orders per month required).  Virtucom Group delivered all content orders within the agreed-upon turnaround time of 30 business days, giving Jennifer plenty of time to plan in advance.

Further, Jennifer took advantage of the knowledge of Virtucom Group by scheduling quarterly consultations with her account manager. During these discussions, Nicole Sorce, Director of Content Marketing, did the following and more:

  • Guided Jennifer about prioritizing certain types of content
  • Helped form cohesive brand messaging by gathering the right information
  • Answered any of Jennifer’s questions relating to our service areas

While the SEO website content for www.jenniferwaters.net is complete, Virtucom Group is always standing by to assist Jennifer with any of her company’s writing and editing needs.

The Results

Throughout the partnership, Jennifer felt that Virtucom Group met her content creation needs for writing and editing landing pages, blog posts, social media posts, and ebooks. Virtucom Group also assisted with email marketing efforts from a content creation perspective. Jennifer has reported a noticeable difference in her organic website traffic, even garnering some new leads from search engines.

Client Testimonial

If you want to have an online business and compete in the online world, you have to create content. It takes a lot of time. That’s what I was pretty naïve about because I’m swimming in ideas for content, and you have to make that into something marketable.

I was really impressed when I first met the Virtucom Group team and they interviewed me. The fact that several people were on the call made a lot of sense. You want to have different ears hearing the same thing, as we all interpret things so differently. Virtucom Group really takes a team approach – everyone works together to keep the focus and branding clear and the content consistent.

Virtucom Group is at a whole other level of professionalism than anyone else I’ve worked with. The team has really brought me up to a new level. There is a big difference between working with a professional team vs. someone who thinks they’re good at content. Virtucom Group always has a vision for me in terms of where I can go with content, and it’s not necessarily where I would think. If you’re looking to become a recognized expert in your field, your website and online presence needs to reflect that.”

Want a Successful Tax Season? Consider Accounting Content Marketing

Tax season is one of the most — if not the most — important times of the year for accounting firms. Whether your firm serves businesses or individuals, there’s one constant — everyone pays taxes. Clients want to know they’re working with a firm they can trust with knowledgeable and experienced accountants dedicated to meeting their needs. How can you convey your firm fits this description to increase business?

Virtucom Group believes the best strategy is through accounting content marketing. With content writing services tailored to your industry and specific concerns, you can ensure that your messaging resonates with the target audience and tells your firm’s unique story. Discover more about content marketing for accountants for tax season and beyond from Virtucom Group.

Benefits of Content Marketing for Accountants

Marketing is an essential function of any business; it’s how your firm communicates with existing and potential clients. A successful marketing strategy helps you grow your business. In addition to providing relevant messaging, content marketing offers specific advantages for accounting firms, such as:

Increases Visibility

High-quality and original digital content enhanced for search engine optimization (SEO) helps generate awareness about your firm. When you infuse top keywords into your landing pages, blogs, social posts, and similar content, it increases the likelihood your pages will rank high on search engine results pages (SERP).

Establishes Authority and Trust

Your content should answer questions potential clients have regarding your services or industry. For example, you may have a page about the most frequently asked questions (FAQs) about filing taxes. In this way, the keywords you incorporate not only lead people to your site but also answer their questions.

When an accounting firm updates its content regularly, it shows potential clients it’s knowledgeable in the field. The more your site appears in SERP, the more you establish your firm as having authority, which builds trust. People become inclined to trust your firm over a firm that doesn’t update their blogs or social media pages often.

Helps Your Firm Stand Out from the Competition

Content marketing also enables you to differentiate your firm from others offering similar services. Simply keeping your blog up-to-date and refreshing your web pages can distinguish you from those firms whose websites haven’t been updated recently. However, your firm can think more creatively about the types of blogs and social posts you produce.

For instance, if you mostly serve businesses, devote several blogs to the specific tax concerns of these industries. What may these companies need to consider that other businesses or individuals don’t? Another strategy is to create content that keeps up with current events, such as blogs discussing recent legislation or revised government regulations and their implications for potential clients.

Ultimately, making content relevant to your target audience means capturing their attention more often than your competitors. In turn, your firm can acquire more clients even when competition is stiff.

Types of Content Beneficial for Accounting Firms

Tax preparation services are profitable for accountants. A 2020-2021 study from National Society of Accountants found that the average fee for preparing a Form 1040, itemized and a state income tax return was about $323. The type of tax return clients need help filing and variables like geographic location can impact fees, but firms can still earn a significant amount with tax preparation.

As such, tax season is the ideal time to consider content marketing if you haven’t already. The following are some types of content marketing materials you can use to communicate with clients:

Blog Posts

Your blogs are the primary resource for establishing trust with your audience. This is where you’ll answer questions, discuss news affecting the industry, and convey the expertise of your accountants. Besides landing pages, blogs are the next best place for incorporating SEO, including relevant keywords, internal/external links, your location/geo-focus, and a call-to-action (CTA). You may also wish to include visuals to keep readers engaged.

Email Marketing

Email marketing offers a personalized touch to marketing. Directly delivered to a client’s inbox, these email newsletters include internal updates and reminders to file taxes, among other information. Just be sure your emails aren’t overstuffed with information, discouraging clients from reading it altogether.

Before you begin with email marketing, you need a list of contacts. One way to get potential clients’ contact information is to make a contact form the CTA on blogs and landing pages.

Social Media

Social media may seem best for retail businesses, but it’s a wellspring of opportunity for any industry. It’s especially helpful for generating awareness of your firm. You can use social media to post a preview of your blogs with a link to the page on your website or to respond to a relevant current event. Social media is also more interactive — you can respond directly to questions users pose about tax returns and related concerns.

Ebooks

Ebooks allow accounting firms to go into further detail on a single topic than a blog post. They serve as guides into the topic, solidifying your firm as knowledgeable in the field. For example, you may create a tax preparation guide around the beginning of each year with updated information. Be sure to incorporate ample keywords as well.

Infographics

A good content marketing strategy involves a mix of content, including written and visual materials. Infographics help share statistics and data from case studies. Since accounting is numbers-based, many clients may want to see the cold-hard facts to back up the written content. What’s more, infographics translate well into other types of content. You can post them on social media or create blogs around them.

Content Marketing for Construction: Simple Tactics for Organic Growth

If you work in the construction industry, you might not think much of marketing strategies. However, content marketing for construction should be at the top of your mind. Whether you’re a single-person operation or a giant in the industry, it’s imperative you don’t neglect your digital content and search engine optimization (SEO). Here, Virtucom Group explains the importance of content marketing for the construction industry and the most effective strategies our content team would utilize.

What Is Content Marketing?

Construction and home improvement are notoriously competitive sectors. Most companies are restricted to their service areas, which limits the amount of work up for grabs. Businesses will want to make their brand stand out amongst the crowd — content marketing helps to accomplish that.

Content marketing is a marketing approach that focuses on strategizing, creating, and distributing relevant, accurate, and consistent content that caters to and attracts a clearly defined audience. Ultimately, the goal of content marketing for construction is to get your brand in front of potential customers. This is so that your construction business comes to mind when it’s time to buy services you offer.

What Is SEO?

Effective content marketing involves keywords to drive SEO, or search engine optimization. SEO is a set of processes aimed at improving a website’s visibility on search engines, such as Google. The goal of SEO is to create more organic traffic to your website.

The idea of SEO is very simple —the higher you rank, the more people will visit your company’s website. Studies have shown that the #1 organic result is 10x more likely to receive a click compared to a page in the #10 spot, and the top three organic results get more than 50% of all the clicks. Essentially, SEO helps to level the playing field. Failing to include SEO keywords in your content marketing leaves space for competitors to attract the attention of potential customers.

Content Marketing Strategies to Consider

Effective content marketing allows companies to connect with their target audience while simultaneously boosting their reputation and credibility. When done right, construction companies can accomplish this in a number of ways, including:

Blog Posts

While you might not think it’s necessary for your construction business to have a blog, the numbers don’t lie. Companies that blog get 55% more website visitors than businesses that don’t. Blog content helps your business stand out as an authority in your industry. Potential customers can gain valuable information about your construction business or other relative topics. This helps build trust and drive customer retention.

Location and Landing Pages

It’s crucial that customers seeking the type of construction services you offer be able to find you. Location pages help to connect potential customers in your area to your website, landing pages help convert them to paying customers. Location and landing pages will educate your audience on the kind of work you do and the quality you offer.

Sponsored Articles

Not all content needs to feel like an ad. In many cases, it’s important that it doesn’t as 30% of web users actively avoid banner ads. Sponsored articles help construction businesses tell a story rather than sell their services. This type of strategy evokes trust with potential customers, which can lead to higher revenue.

Social Media Posts

A strong social media presence can have a profound impact on your construction business. 80% of internet users interact with both social media sites and blogs. Failing to utilize this tool can set your business behind. Employing this marketing strategy and creating social media content allows you to maximize your reach and influence prospects while promoting your construction brand.

Content Marketing for Local Business: More Affordable Than You Think

Content marketing is the process of using information and displaying it in an accessible way, aiming to bring awareness to a company. Content marketing can be done through many outlets, such as a business’s website or social media. The process of content marketing involves writing long or short-form pieces that aim to capture the reader’s attention and inform. That way, customers can learn from your company, which can allow you to resonate with them in a more personal way.

The right content strategy can be implemented into any business – even local ones. Doing so can be a more affordable, easier way to get your name out there and connect with consumers. Virtucom Group is a content marketing company based in Syracuse, New York, serving businesses across the U.S. and Canada. We specialize in ecommerce content creation, enhancement, and strategy to keep companies relevant in an ever-changing market. Here, we talk about the benefits of content marketing for local businesses.

Save Money on Hiring Costs

Businesses may not have the time, money, or resources to hire a new team of writers and editors. This is especially true for small, local businesses. However, this doesn’t have to stop you from enhancing your content strategy. Instead of hiring your own team of writers and editors, consider hiring an outside company for content services, like Virtucom Group. Local businesses can rely on ecommerce content agencies to create relevant, informational content.

When it comes to writing content, you’ll need a team of skilled writers and editors. While you can craft content yourself, professional writers and editors will have the knowledge and skills needed to portray information effectively. Good content should connect with readers, using enticing language and relevant information. A team of writers and editors can collaborate with your business, offering ways to display information that connects with your audience and brand.

Writers and editors also have specialized training in using language to capture a reader’s attention and encourage them to learn more. In addition, they know the best practices for crafting web content, like search engine optimization (SEO). Hiring writers and editors outside your company can give you the resources to create quality content. It can also save businesses money from having to hire their own content team.

Return on Investment (ROI)

As stated before, most writers and editors understand the rules of SEO. SEO stands for search engine optimization. It involves using keywords to achieve more views on your webpage. These keywords come from common phrases or fragments that a user typically searches when they are looking for your product or service.

For example, if a customer wants to know more about how to use a specific drill, they may search for something like “how to use a drill.” Local tool companies may use the key phrase, “how to use a drill,” throughout a webpage or blog post.

Implementing these keywords throughout your content can drive traffic to your business’s website. This is because as customers search the keywords on search engines like Google, your page can land higher on the search engine results page (SERP). In turn, more users will see your website and turn to you for information or assistance.

The right content marketing team understands how to implement keywords while keeping readability in mind. At Virtucom Group, we evaluate your current content and strategize ways to improve it through SEO. We ensure keywords are natural and consistent, allowing businesses to see ROI with good profit margins.

Enhance Sales

The most important aspect of driving sales in a business is finding ways to get your audience to connect with it. This means companies must create content that entices customers to visit their websites. When content connects with an audience, this can encourage them to learn more about your business.

Informational content can give customers insight into a specific topic related to your business. It can educate and teach your audience how to use your product or service. It can also inform readers of other relevant information that may be useful. For example, a company that sells dog food can benefit from creating blog posts about topics like:

  • Health benefits for dogs
  • Best ways to prepare dog food
  • Foods that dogs should and should not eat
  • How to maintain a healthy diet in dogs

Adding this kind of information to your website content allows customers to turn to you when issues arise. If they are looking for better ways to prepare their dog’s food, they will come across your page in their searches and use your website as a resource. Not only can this target a new range of customers, but it can also get them to explore other pages on your website, including the products and services you offer. In turn, you can increase sales for your business.

Content Marketing for Private Schools vs. Public Schools

Private schools typically have more freedom when it comes to marketing their institutions. From preschool through the university level, private school officials exercise more control over how the school is portrayed and the reach of its marketing efforts.

The 2024 U.S. educational landscape reveals shifting levels of school enrollment in both public and private schools. Families and students are searching for educational programs that meet their needs. Content marketing for private schools can help them find your school.

Consider a content creation partnership with Virtucom Group, a digital content and data solutions firm. Here, we describe how content marketing for private schools differs from strategies for public schools.

How Does Your School Brand Stand Out?

You understand all the ways that students benefit from the education and resources at your private school. There are rich layers of possibility for every student. However, no school can be all things to all potential enrollees. That’s why a thorough interrogation of your school’s brand can help focus marketing strategies. Otherwise, students and their families may be receiving mixed or confusing messages about what is available at your institution.

The experienced marketers at Virtucom Group can research how potential students are interacting with your private school branding. As external partners, we listen to the goals of your private school for enrollment and program building. We want to understand the philosophy on which your school is built and help you celebrate its accomplishments. Sound messaging and a targeted marketing strategy for content services can help attract students who will flourish at your private school.

Does Your Website Support Your Brand?

Refreshes and redesigns are expensive and can be exhausting, but when there are a few fixes that can help you attract enrollments, these are worth tackling. Virtucom Group has been helping schools, businesses, and other organizations improve online connections for over 15 years. We want potential students and other customers to easily find the information and services they need. This is accomplished by helping you locate the subjects and questions that are on the minds of potential students and families.

Effective content and blog strategies can serve as an extension of the admissions, financial aid, and academic departments at your private school. Virtucom Group can help you with the resources to craft digital content that is designed to attract and inform your audience of parents and students.

Content Marketing Services for Private Schools

Families and students have questions when choosing a private school. Pre-school parents want to know about schedules for meals and naps. High school students want to know what the uniform looks like, or if the school has a swim team. Their parents may be interested in how many AP programs are offered, or whether an art program is right for their child. At the university level, with the plethora of possible majors and activities, both potential students and their families want to know about graduation rates, tuition fees, and alumni networks.

There is a need for information about your private school. And Virtucom Group can help meet that need with carefully written and approved web pages, blog posts, and articles. Our seasoned writers create content that informs, assists, and attracts potential students and other family members. Along with boosting enrollments, content strategies can help attract donations for programs at your private school. When you are recruiting faculty members and administrators, we can help you find applicants who want to work at your institution.

Reach Private School Audiences with Content Marketing

Private schools are busy enterprises, and every staff member has plenty of already-existing responsibilities. In other words, it can be difficult to find the time to write your own marketing copy, especially blog content and longer articles. With the assistance of an experienced partner, effective content marketing for private schools is possible, without taxing overburdened staff. Virtucom Group will work with you to create the content you want and need in today’s educational marketplace. For more information, contact us today.

A Quick Look at Virtucom Group’s Meticulous Research and Quality Assurance Processes

Regardless of industry, all businesses require properly researched and thoroughly edited content to present their target audiences with accurate and compelling content. Virtucom Group provides content marketing services for clients across an array of industries, including retailers, software providers, and marketing agencies. Our commitment to meticulous research and quality assurance is in large part what enables us to craft different types of digital content for many industries. Learn more about our content creation processes.

Thoughtful Research Leads to More Accurate and Engaging Content

To craft an engaging piece, our writing team researches the client and the industry. We attend interviews with clients and create style guides for each, considering verbiage they would or would not like to use, the states or regions they wish to target, and specific formatting for their names and certain products/services.

We also learn the tone they want to convey, which may be different for some types of content. For example, adopting a more casual, light-hearted tone for blogs and an informational tone for landing pages. This guidance provides a basis for all content, ensuring a uniform tone even as multiple writers create content for the same client.

Most importantly, we learn the keywords most relevant to the client’s target audience to increase their presence on search engine results pages (SERP).

The focus for research differs depending on the type of content. With landing pages, we stick closely to the client’s website, seeking external sources to expand on the topic and incorporate more relevant keywords. We also examine pages from similar clients in the industry that rank well, gaining inspiration while ensuring the content is wholly unique.

For blogs, we look to the industry for guidance on each topic. Our goal is to help clients become thought leaders in their industries, so we use only the most reliable sources for insight. Writers are instructed to avoid Wikipedia and similar sources, instead relying on established sources not considered competitors of the client.

Proofreading Embedded into the Writing Process

While proofreading is an important part of the editing process, Virtucom Group also stresses proofreading among writers. After completing the draft, writers must go through the piece to not only identify spelling and grammatical errors but also make the piece more reader-friendly. Steps to increase the readability of the piece include:

  • Breaking up content into different sections with headers or bullet points
  • Eliminating passive voice in favor of active voice
  • Employing a mix of short with some longer sentences for coherency
  • Using clear language and explaining technical terms to make content more accessible to a wider audience

Standardized Content Editing for Quality Assurance

A formal editorial process sets Virtucom Group apart from others offering content marketing services. We ensure an editor sees every piece before delivery to our clients to enhance quality assurance. Editors review content not only for spelling errors and grammatical mistakes but also for formatting issues and verbiage that disagrees with client-specific guidelines. They may also tweak content for further readability.

Businesses may wonder if a few typos here or there will truly impact their digital content, but our content editors know this isn’t a risk worth taking.

Content editing isn’t just important because disorganized content diminishes trust among readers. Error-laden content is more susceptible to being penalized by Google, lowering the page’s rank or preventing your target audience from finding it altogether. For industries subject to more stringent guidelines, such as healthcare or legal, typos can land businesses in hot water, needing to pay hefty fines.

Finally, an additional proofreader reviews the piece before delivery. This third measure ensures even the most challenging assignment is delivered virtually without error.

Trust Content Marketing Services From Virtucom Group

The dedicated team of content strategists, writers, and editors at Virtucom Group wants to help you craft content that engages your audience and leads to more conversions. How Virtucom Group Helped a Boutique Content Agency Get through the Holidays

Case Study: January 2024

The holiday season comes at both the best and worst time of year for content marketing agencies. On one hand, it’s a race toward meeting end-of-year content creation deadlines and keeping clients satisfied. On the other hand, business in Corporate America generally slows, with many employees and clients taking vacation time – although this was far from the case for one of our clients in December 2023.

Virtucom Group is based in Syracuse, New York, and serves Fortune 500 retailers and content marketing agencies across North America. In this case study, we summarize how we helped a small agency fulfill its content needs, making the holidays extra merry and bright.

The Problem

This agency, which cannot be named due to confidentiality agreements, approached Virtucom Group in the early days of December 2023. Its internal writing and editing teams were falling behind on the content orders needing fulfillment, and the agency feared it was in jeopardy of missing pertinent deadlines. The agency needed help turning around nearly 30 content orders, which were due to clients before the end of the month. Specifically, 10 orders were due by 12/19, with the rest due by 12/26.

To complicate matters, the content orders all featured complex medical topics. Knowing of our ability to craft thoroughly researched content for any industry, the agency felt confident leaving these orders in our trusted hands.

The Solution

Upon receiving our client’s request, Virtucom Group sprung into action, designating specific writers and editors to the agency’s account. First, the lead editor reviewed all writing materials and instructions, letting the agency know if we needed additional information or clarification about the provided topics. The account manager then assigned pieces to be written by specific employees, who had written content for this agency earlier in our partnership.

After the pieces were written, they entered Virtucom Group’s editorial phase. The lead editor deployed our time-tested quality assurance practices, ensuring the content included the following:

After the editorial phase, the account manager gave each piece a final proof. As the content became ready, the account manager delivered orders piecemeal so the agency could have them as soon as possible. The account manager is now on standby in case any content revisions or additional new orders are needed.

The Results

Thanks to the finesse and knowledge of the Virtucom Group content marketing team, we were able to complete the majority of the orders ahead of the aforementioned deadlines. For our client, this meant several positive outcomes. For one, its internal strain was significantly reduced, as Virtucom Group took a tremendous weight off the agency’s shoulders. But perhaps more importantly, the agency’s clients were extremely satisfied with the high-quality content we produced. The agency is extremely grateful for our partnership, and we’re looking forward to helping them complete more content requests in 2024 and beyond.
